As a summer project I decided to produce one editorial illustration for a Guardian article written by one journalist, randomly I selected George Monbiot, I plan to do this everyweek.
Week 1: started 8th May
This Article already had an illustration for itself, therefore I would have to be a little more creative.

I first looked at Eva Vihelmiina and tried to replicate her style of drawing to use for woodland/ filds.

I created this piece while looking at her work and realised this was too much skill to try and learn for a week, so instead I chose to follow my current illustration process for this first editorial piece.
However I was reminded to look back at my own work and the example that stuck out to me was these: |

Second article is about the right wing views of the BBC being apparent in their reaction to a podcast talking about heat pumps.
