Wanted to explore Mark making as a way of incorporating a 3D element.

With some feedback, I was introduced to the idea of collage and assemblage art. With the concepts of vastly different vibes and directions to go.

I have saved a collection of images I'll print out and use to collage on top of the photography I've already taken.

Marking making experiments

I only completed these two collages as after our talk with Dwyane I wanted to create some more tangible, but still wanted to include and either these, so here are some variations.

Then I experimented with titles and different vibes to get a clearer idea of a direction to take

My first obvious thought was to create an eye as reference to the bands logo, so I looked at a more grey style to take the aesthetic in.

With zoe really liking the collages I decided to just use both those and the sculptures, so I took photos and edited them for the album.

My first idea for the back covers was to put the eye in places with alcohol and cigarettes, then have a 3d clay made version of my logo.
However the photos I took and edited of this (without the logo) looked boring so i disgarded it.

Then after a feedback session with zoe I got the idea to create a receipt put in the same environment as before.

kept the theme of collage for the two singles and had these results.

I made a pair of lungs for one and a heart for the other. I put eyes all over both to tie in the logo. And decided to put the logo on the back for these two covers also.

For the heart single I wanted to take a close up of the heart I create and construct my logo out of the eyes on top.

For the lung single I wanted to keep the desaturated theme as well as the bone imagery. I wanted to have my logo covered in a way that resembled a rib cage. So I created a collage and used string also.

For the titles I couldn't find any typefaces I thought would fit the vibe, so I decided to hand write the names in the same font I did for my logo.

I edited the covers of both singles too with different filters and adjustments.

After feedback I decided that the back covers for the singles should be the front, as well as fixing type issues with them too. I also brightened up the album.
