Our first task was to create a logo/mark for a randomly regenerated band name. The nam e I got was 'Relatively Clean'.

The first thing I wanted to do was to establish a genre and identity for this band. I started with a mind map to pull apart the meanings of each word to get a better idea of a direction to go.
My decision for a direction came to Psychedelic and/or Metal. I made a list of key words to help guide my designs, also gathering existing bands marks, then started experimenting with some ideas.

I decided to upload and mess around with a few of my initial ideas and these were the ones I was left with.

Typeface workshop with zoe, we created a typeface with 4 different shapes we cut out and photographed. During this I also experimented with the idea of an Orchestra band for my title as well as Reggae, which I didn't like as much.

I picked a good few designs I liked most (mostly psychedelic rock but some Orchestra ideas too) to develop more and test out colour choices.
I decided to develop the eye design as well as the RC mushroom one.
